To meet 2011 World University Summer Games and EU-China Year of Youth, a world universiade youth carnival and Sino-Euro forum will be held during the games period in Shenzhen.

It is learned that there will be three kinds of topic activities in the youth carnival during the games period: firstly, “the World University Beach Music Festival with the topic Establishment of Friendship Bridge” will be held, which will invite the world top five excellent university artistic groups, famous music societies and bands (or singers) of Chinese universities to join in the performance; secondly, a Sino-Euro forum will be held; thirdly, rich visit and exchange activities will be carried out, concentrating on the Chinese traditional culture, the city humanities and historic culture of Shenzhen, and volunteer service culture etc.

At that time, over thousands of youngsters from five continents will join in the activities of the carnival.
