Volunteers’ security and safeguard training lecture launched On the morning of Oct.10, the first security and safeguard rudimentary knowledge training for the Universiade leading volunteers was launched in Shenzhen Polytechnic, for the purpose of the Universiade security and safeguard services. Respective leaders of the Executive Office Security and Safeguard Department, Volunteers Department and the Communist Youth League of Shenzhen Polytechnic attended the starting ceremony of the lecture.

“Safety is the most important thing for the coming Universiade and the host city,” said Chief of the Executive Office Security and Safeguard Department Wang Weidong, at the lecture starting ceremony. In his speech, he stressed the importance of Universiade security and safeguard work, and expressed his gratitude to the volunteers coming to the lecture.

As was told, the aim of the training lecture is to tell the Universiade working staff and volunteers about the core ideology and importance of security and safeguard work. Furthermore, they will be given special training on how to control potential safety hazards and to deal with problems in their daily work. They are also asked to make sure of all the requirements of the Universiade security and safeguard work.
