On the morning of Jan. 29, Vice Chairperson of the Executive Committee and Director-general of the Executive Office for the Universiade Liang Daoxing, with Deputy Director-general of the Executive Office Ke Gangming and chiefs of General Office, External Relations Department, Logistics Department, Universiade Village Administration Department, Registration and Consultative Department, Legal Affairs Department, Venue Management Department, Competition Department, and Security Department, came to Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, making an investigation on inspection and Quarantine work for the 26th Shenzhen Summer Universiade.

At the conversazione with officials the Bureau, Secretary of Party Leadership Group and Chief of Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau Liu Shengli introduced operating duties and general work of Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau to all the investigators of the Executive Office, especially their preparation work for the Universiade. It is known that Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine includes four types: health quarantine for entry personnel, quarantine for entry personnel’s belongings, quarantine for commodity products, and quarantine for vehicles. At present, Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has had persons specifically appointed to see after entry-exit inspection and quarantine for athletes and team officials during the future Universiade. For this end, they have already organized a Universiade inspection and quarantine working team, and have made an emergency preplan on border of every checkpoint during the game time. “Although entry-exit inspection and quarantine is pretty complicated, we will bear down all the difficulties in our work, acting in concert with the Universiade Office to do a good job in entry-exit inspection and quarantine for the events,” Liu Shengli added.

Liang Daoxing also thought entry-exit inspection and quarantine work very important, and he expressed his approval of the work of Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.
