On the afternoon of May 23th, the first batch of more than 500 leading volunteers and reserve volunteers of Universiade Shenzhen 2011 attended the starting ceremony of the Training for the First Batch of Leading Volunteers, and were given the first training lesson. Mr. Liang Daoxing, the vice chairperson of executive committee and chief of executive board of Universiade Shenzhen 2011, was present in the ceremony, together with Ms. Liu Yan, the Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee of Shenzhen, Mr. Zhao Guanghua, the deputy director general of executive board, and all leaders involved of the Communist Youth League Committee of Shenzhen and the Education Bureau of Shenzhen. Meanwhile, they awarded the representatives of the leading volunteers the working certificate of the Universiade.

    Afterwards, Mr. Li Yang, famous both as the founder of the world – known English education organization “Crazy English”, and the chief coach of Oral English Training courses for volunteers of Beijing Olympic 2008, along with Ms Sun Baoli, the section chief of volunteer department of Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee and the deputy dean of the School of Management of Beijing Sports University, gave training lessons on general English and universal knowledge of the Universiade.
