In the morning, August 21, Liang Daoxing, Vice Chairperson of Executive Committee and Director-general of the Executive Office, together with Managing Deputy Director Zhao Guanghua and other members of the Executive Office, came to inspect the Joyous Seashore of the Huaqiaocheng Group. In addition to knowing about the construction progress of the Joyous Seashore and the programming of its different function divisions, they discussed with the people in charge of the Huaqiaocheng Group about the possibility of choosing the Joyous Seashore to be the place for the closing ceremony for the Universiade.

It is well known that the Joyous Seashore is situated at the Shenzhen Bay Area, the north of Seashore Road, the south of the Huaqiaocheng theme park. It is connected with 15 –kilometer Seashore Corridor planned and mangrove conservation district to the south. And it ch consists of a ecotourism area, a metropolis bright-light district, a seashore theme park and an area for holidays. The Joyous Seashore is expected to soft open by the end of 2010 and officially open to Shenzhen citizens and visitors both home and abroad in the May of 2011.
