On the afternoon of October 18, Vice President of the Executive Committee and Director-general of the Universiade Executive Office Liang Daoxing came to Bao'an District, having an inspection on newly – built venues here. Deputy Director of the Executive Office Liu Pingsheng, Member of the Leading Party Group of the Executive Office and Chief of the Human Resources Department Li Chaoqi, and respective leaders of the Universiade Executive Office departments paid a visit for company.

 

On the construction site of Bao'an Stadium, nicknamed "Bamboo Forest", Mr. Liang listened to a report on construction progress, which shows building projects proceeding remarkably well and contract signing of follow-up projects mostly finished. Liang noted venue construction is the solid foundation of hosting a successful Universiade. He also expressed his gratitude to Bao’an District staff for their excellent work for the Shenzhen Universiade. At the meeting right after the inspection, Liang reiterated the importance of building playing area teams and venue teams, hoping that Bao'an District staff will throw themselves into setting up the leading venue teams and tailoring the venue operation plans.
