FISU SG/CEO Saintrond, FISU President Gallien & IOC President Rogge

 

LAUSANNE – On October 6th, the President of the International University Sports Federation, Claude Louis Gallien met Jacques Rogge, President of the International Olympic Committee, at the Chateau de Vidy, the IOC headquarters in Lausanne.

Together with the FISU Secretary-General/CEO Eric Saintrond, President Gallien made an overview of FISU's current status, signalling key developments and projects currently in progress.

The informal meeting was an excellent opportunity to raise some topics in areas of cooperation between the International Olympic Committee and FISU, such as collaborations in the fields of education, events, sport and development, amongst others.

Future meetings will be organised between FISU and IOC in the coming months.
