Happy Bubbles are soaring

On the afternoon of November 22, “Happy bubbles”, an associated logo for the Shenzhen 2011 Universiade, was released by the Organizing Committee of the 2011 Shenzhen Universiade together with Coca - Cola Company, at the gym in the south of Shenzhen Unviersiade. It officially marks the all-wave cooperation of the Shenzhen 2011 Universiade and Coca - Cola on marketing business, which will promote sports spirits and sell products at the same time, to show up Chinese young people’s vigour in an immense space. Chief General of the Office of the Executive Office Liu Pingsheng, Chief of the Marketing Department Zheng Mingjun, Chief of the Logistics Office Lin Jia, President of Shenzhen University Zhang Bigong, and Operating Director Wang Jiangping of the Guangdong Branch of Coca - Cola (China)were present at the ceremony.

Since the Universiade is generally regarded as a platform for the youth to exchange ideas and cultures, the release of the associated logo by the Shenzhen Unviersiade and Coca - Cola has swiftly become a highlight among young people in Shenzhen and even in the world.The associated logo, under the name of “Happy bubbles”, seems a combination of the Shenzhen Universiade logo and the Coca Cola sign, with bright circular rings symbolizing the vigor and enthusiasm of the Unviersiade. Soon, in 2010, the associated logo will appear on package of Coca - Cola line products in Guangdong province, and as well all the activities related to the Unviersiade.

 

 

 

Chief General of the Office of the Executive Office Liu Pingsheng said in his address, “the Universiade is a gala for the youth through the world, which stands for a sports spirit of “friendship, brotherhood, fairness, perseverance, rightness, teamwork, and uprising”; while Coca Cola is a world famous brand, which represents the youngest, the most active and the most international element. The sports spirit and culture connotation can be joined organically by the associated logo, and in this way, the positive, uphill and optimistic sports spirits of the Universiade can be spread among more youngsters in the world.” At the end of the release ceremony, a team combined by the Executive Office and Coca - Cola Company had a friendly basketball match with the Shenzhen University school team, for which President Zhang Bigong kicked off.

With the birth of the associated logo, a series of Universiade marketing promotions are going to launch in 2010, popularizing products with the sign “Happy Bubbles” on them, the Universiade one year count – down activity, selevting torch bearers for the Unviersiade as well as the torch relay included.
