Li Yang, the originator of Crazy English, gives a mass English lesson to more than 2,000 police officers in Nanshan District, marking the opening of the Nanshan Police English Salon, on Saturday.

More than 1,000 police officers and their family members had registered to attend to the salon, which will regularly organize training courses.

The salon was established to impove English levels of police officers as the city prepares for the 2011 Shenzhen Universiade.
