Holographic technique will be applied to credentials, tickets, identification marks to well guard against falsification in large-scale international events like the Asian Games in Guangzhou and the Universiade in Shenzhen, which was announced in the eighth International Conference on Holographic Display yesterday.

The eighth International Conference on Holographic Display opened yesterday at Bao’an District, Shenzhen. Nearly 200 world-famous scientists and Holographic technicians from over 20 countries and regions such as the USA, the UK, Germany and China attended the conference. It is said it is the first time for the 5-day meeting to be held outside the USA and Europe. The meeting will end July 17.

Holographic technique can also be found in our daily life, for example, it is widely used as anti-fake labels in paper currency and some kinds of credit cards.
