On July 25th, The Volunteer department of the Executive Office organized the outward bound training program for the first batch of events volunteer. zhao Guanghua, Deputy Director-General of Executive office, Cai Yifang, the director of the volunteer department and education bureau leaders attend the activity in Bijia Hill park.
Zhao Guanghua, representing the Executive Office for Universiade, expressed his praise and appreciation to volunteers who attend the training under the extremely hot weather. He indicated that the Universiade won’t be successful without an outstanding team of volunteers. As the Universiade is drawing on, all the volunteer work need to move on a new step. Volunteer’s training plays one of the most important roles to develop a successfully team. He encouraged volunteers to attend as more trainings like this as they can to increase the service capability and skills. All the tiny improvement now will leave a better image to the foreigners during the game.
Happy volunteers
500 core volunteers are divided into 5 groups, namely, Happy UU team, Open UU team, Young UU team and Future UU team. In the first part of the game, all groups need to achieve the goal together as a team, such as, inspiration, team wheel, train walk and so on. In the second part, all of the volunteers worked together to regroup the shape of UU. Most of volunteers said that the activities let them know the importance of teamwork. In the mean time, it increased our analyzing skills and problem solving skills during the game
As the 26th Summer Universiade entered Shenzhen time, the volunteer’s training program will launch comprehensively this year. It is said that the volunteer department has started the common knowledge training and outward bound training. This year, it will organize the training for Shenzhen history culture, voluntary service theory and voluntary service skill. The training will increase the core volunteer’s quality and make a solid foundation for the next year’s Universiade Shenzhen.
