The Executive Office Launched the First Batch Core Volunteer Training

On May 23rd, 500 core volunteers and backup core volunteers took part in the core events volunteers training launching ceremony and first training activities. The activity was held in the Shenzhen Youth League School. Liang Daoxing, The director-general of the Shenzhen Executive Committee for Universiade, Liu Yan, the Secretary of the Youth League party, Zhao Guanghua, the deputy director-general of the Executive Office and other leaders of Youth League School attended the ceremony.

Liang Daoxing emphasized the importance of the volunteer to the Universiade Shenzhen. He appealed that volunteers need to cherish the opportunity to increase their comprehensive capabilities, to improve their voluntary service skills to prepare for Universiade next year.

Li Lifu, the core events volunteer, represents the volunteer to make a speech in the ceremony. He expressed the determination and confidence to be part of the team and wish a successful Universiade in Shenzhen next year.

Li yang, the founder of Crazy English and coach of volunteer spoken English for Beijing Olympic 200, and Mrs.Sun Baoli, the head admin of Volunteer Training Department for Beijing Olympic Games 2008 and assistant dean of School of Management of Beijing Gymnasium University separately delivered the general English and general volunteer knowledge training lecture. Li yang inspired volunteer's potential and their interesting of learn English; Sun Baoli used wonderful language to introduce the development of Universiade and the bidding process for Shenzhen Universiade.

It is said that general English and general knowledge training were both parts of training program. The outward bound training, professional skill training, training camp and other projects will be hold in the following year. Beside the project mentioned above, The Executive Office will create many other kinds of practical service opportunity to let volunteer join in. From organizing diversified training modes and practice, we believe it will cultivate an international and diversified Universiade voluntary team.
