With a total floor area of 16,900m2, the sports center consists of two buildings, a gymnasium and an auxiliary building. The gymnasium covers a floor area of 7,871m2and a building area of 14,501m2.The gymnasium appears like a shell seen from the outside,a design epitomizing the characteristics of the local oceanic ecological environment. The gymnasium has two courts that can be used for volleyball or basketball competitions and training.Moreover,there are functional rooms for news broadcast,news conference and doping control,etc.
