Cycling Course of Longgang Sports Center

1.Universiade BMX Venue

Overall Description:

The BMX venue is comprised of a BMX track, a starting slope, a starting door, guardrails and a finishing line. The track covers an area of 2,800㎡.

Starting slope: 1.5m at the lowest and 7.5m at the highest and the minimum width is 10m.
Starting door: The minimum starting width for each of the eight riders is 90cm. The starting door can be controlled electronically or manually.
Warm-up area: It is built following the models of BeijingOlympic Games and Guangzhou Asian Games and covers an area of 500㎡.

2.Universiade Mountain Cycling Venue

Overall Description:

The well-equipped mountain cycling track was built on a hill in the Universiade Park, with its starting line and finishing line in Longgang Sports Center. It has temporarily built panel houses and tents as different functional rooms. The course includes paved roads, gravel paths, forest roads and tracks, fields and significant amounts of climbing and descending. The course is wholly ridable regardless of the terrain and weather conditions. Each lap is 5 kilometers. Women’s race will last about 40 minutes and men’s race lasts about 50 minutes.

3.Universiade Road Cycling (Longgang Sports Center)

Overall Description:
The venue will be used for women’s 35km team time trial, men’s 50km team time trial, women’s 120km individual race and men’s 160km individual race. The individual events share functional rooms with mountain cycling and BMX competitions. The team events have their own temporarily built functional rooms.

4.Cycling Course of Longgang Sports Center

Overall Description:
Covering an area of 12,865.8㎡, the three-floor velodrome has different entrances for athletes, officials and working staff on the first floor, while the spectators enter from the second floor. It has two well-equipped locker rooms and some functional rooms. The seating capacity is 1,500, with 126 seats on the VIP stand. The press center covers an area of 120㎡.
