-- Liang Daoxing investigates at the Shenzhen General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection

On the afternoon of May 20, Vice Chairperson of the Executive Committee and Director-general of the Executive Office paid a visit to the Shenzhen General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, conducting an investigation on issues related to games – time border inspection. The full – time Deputy Director of the Executive Office Liu Pingsheng and respective leaders of the Executive Office departments such as General Administration Dept, External Relations Dept, Media and Communications Dept, Competition Dept, Security and Safeguard Dept, and Registration and Consultation Dept attended the investigation.

Liang Daoxing listened to the briefing made by the Shenzhen General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection on the Universiade border inspection. As told, the Shenzhen General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection has ten border checkpoints including Luohu Checkpoint, Huanggang Checkpoint, Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint, Shekou Checkpoint, Wenjindu Checkpoint, the Airport Checkpoint, Yantian Checkpoint, Shatoujiao Checkpoint, Sungang Checkpoint, and Dachanwan Checkpoint. They take charge of the exit and entry frontier inspection at the following Shenzhen ports opened to outside: Luohu Port, Huanggang Port (Futian Port included), Shenzhen Bay Port, Shekou Port, Wenjindu Port, the Airport Prot, Yantian Port, Shatoujiao Port, Sungang Port, and Dachanwan Port. Their main tasks include checking up the inward and outward personnel, their luggage, transport facilities (automobiles, trains, boats, and airplanes included), and cargo carried by these facilities. They also conduct a ward of transport facilities entering and leaving the border, put alert on restrictive areas at the port, and perform tasks conferred by law and the authorities concerned.

 Liang thanked the Shenzhen General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection for their support in both bidding for the Universiade and prepararing for the Universiade. Liang said, frontier inspection plays a very important part in hosting a successful Universiade. Concerning the city image of Shenzhen, the border checkpoint is the gateway of our country at the Universiade. He hoped that everyone will attach importance to the frontier inspection work, and do a good job with joint efforts. He also demands that all the sections should reinforce the communication; they should work out schemes and put them into drilling by the end of this year, realizing the job requirement of “safety and convenience”; they should collect problems to be solved, draft reports of them, and report to leaders; they should training to the staff.
