Based on the general requirements of The FISU Minimum Requirements and the terms of Contract to Host Universiade，the host city should offer accurate, convenient and efficient info service to participants during the games.
Info service during Shenzhen 26th Universiade refers to that Organizing Committee (OC) offers specialized Game Result information, comprehensive Universiade information and the public information of Shenzhen city
Shenzhen Universiade Executive Office of OC will offer conventional and general information service during the 26th Universiade. Information service will be provided in both Mandarin and English for accredited customers (athletes, referees, officials, FISU family members) and spectators on spot and ordinary local residents. The information service covers wide scope, ranging from sports event information to venue information, from city information to news. By means of labour and computers or terminals, we will help people who make some inquiries about Universiade and Shenzhen city life. 170 self-service touch-screen terminals have also been designed and being made. The distribution of computers and touch-screen terminals has been updated according to the latest changes of sporting venues. Therefore, the attendees or participants including spectators from China and the world can easily get the information they need.
For instance, in Universiade Village, it is estimated that we will be getting over 300 inquiries per day about the games, venues and tourism around Shenzhen from the guests at the Information Centers during the games.
Currently, we are taking account of the introduction of Universiade Mobile Phone Short Message （MSG） service. We hope everyone who comes to Shenzhen Universiade will receive our welcome or other useful messages.
