For efficient cross-border inspections, the Organizing Committee recommends that participants use Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport for either a direct flight or a transfer flight from international airports.
1 OC Recommended Arrival-Departure Port
The Organizing Committee recommends Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport for arrivals and
departures.
Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport will have special channels, and it will have a reception desk and special arrival & departure services to facilitate entry/exit. Special transportation services will also be offered between the Airport and the accommodations.
2 OC Recommended Arrival-Departure Points from Hong Kong
The Organizing Committee recommends Hong Kong International Airport as the transit airport, and Shenzhen Bay Port and the Huanggang/Lok Ma Chau Port as the land ports for entry and exit.
Hong Kong International Airport and Huanggang/Lok Ma Chau Port will have special channels.
Moreover, they will have reception desks and special services for arrivals and departures to assist with entry/exit, and they will offer special transportation services for traveling between the Airport and the the accommodations.
NOTE:
(1) Delegations who come to Shenzhen via Hong Kong International Airport will have to go through separate entry/exit procedures for both Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland;
(2) the accommodations hereby refer to Universiade Village or official Hotels.
3 OC Recommended General Transfer and Arrival-Departure Ports and Airports
The Organizing Committee recommends Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Urumqi and Zhuhai as general transfer and entry/exit ports.
The Organizing Committee will coordinate with local governments there and officials at these ports/airports to provide necessary assistance regarding entries and exists. However, no special staff or volunteers will be stationed on site to help with transportation arrangements.
Please Note
(1) The delegations will need to go through China entry/exit procedures by themselves and take care of their own luggage.
(2) Shanghai has two airports (Pudong and Hongqiao). The airports are an approximately one-hour drive from each other. Please make sure of your arrival/departure airport.
